Amazing VN, you know one clicks with you when it leaves you wanting more, I binge read it in 2 days.
It sort of reminds me of Mass Effect with the way you socialize with your crew mates only here it leans much more heavily in that direction, which I can totally get behind since those were the best bits in that franchise. Tulemeni, she's definitely the most exotic and alien crew member of the bunch, even more robotic that the ship AI. At the same time she's strangely soothing, talking to her puts my mind at ease like the song of a siren... Rael himself realizes there is danger in interacting with her in her virtual realm. I hope to learn more about her as the story progresses. Caleia, she's a huge hardass and yet her characterization ensures her attitude never feels out of place or outright detestable, she's hard to love (not for me though, I'm working towards that if you catch my drift) but you get why she acts the way she does, and while she may come off as purely antagonistic at first she actually provides a useful counterpoint to Zuberi's rationale. I mentioned Mass Effect earlier, well if Zuberi and Caleia played it, I bet he'd go for the Paragon route and she for Renegade for sure lol. And finally, there's the marten boy, I just wanna give him a big ol' hug and protect him.
Rael is a cool MC, I like his levelheadedness, he's a good soldier (not to mention dashing of course). While the player does have leeway in his characterization he never feels like a blank slate but more like his own character which is my preferred way of handling MCs to be honest. I picked the colonial administrator backstory, the moral conflict it provided made Rael an infinitely more intriguing character than he otherwise wouldn't have been without (I have yet to try out the other backstories so I can't judge those). Let's hope to God that's the last impossible decision he has to make, one is enough for an entire liftetime.
Vallhund is a great artist, his style is very easy on the eyes, great work by Rico too with that background art, it really sells the whole sci-fi aesthetic. And the writing speaks for itself, I found myself agreeing with the author's mentality more than once, like, you know when sometimes you read a VN and the direction it goes in leaves you frustrated a-la "I would have done it differently"? It's like this guy read my mind on multiple occasions. I especially liked it when you can turn down a certain someone's "reward" offer: accepting it while he was down on his luck and essentially being desperate would have been really fucked up (if any of you reading this took him up on it you're a monster lol).
Generally speaking, the characters behave in a way that is mature and I can't thank the author enough for that, I hate seeing characters especially adults act like high schoolers.
Can I also just say how much I appreciate the adventurous nature of this VN? Many VNs gravitate towards slice-of-life and romance, and while there's absolutely nothing wrong with those genres I'm looking for something more which this VN has given me. While reading this I found myself immersed with the endearing characters, the sci-fi worldbuilding, the military or adjacent attitude we see throughout the story adequate to the running of a ship, be it sailing the high seas or the stars above.
Great VN, I'm pleased and eagerly awaiting the next update. You have my most heartfelt rooting, go Team Void go! Or is it Team Dreamer? Ah you get it, love y'all, respect
Goodness, thank you so very, very much for the incredibly kind words! There's so much here and I'm incredibly grateful that you seem to be enjoying it so much. There's even more on the Patreon if you're inclined and able to help support the project, but even if not there'll be a lot more fun to come here; I hope to entertain you for a long time yet!
wow i downloaded this game coz i was bored and tbh wasn't expecting much (not a reflection on this page just the mood i was in at the time) but this game really blew me away....it has a way of making you feel like your choices (both background-wise and in-game) really change things and i'm really impressed with the characters, story, and art.....was genuinely gutted when "to be continued..." came up on the dialogue bar and am on the edge of my seat for the next update
Thank you so much for the kind words, Hat! I've put a lot of work in to make sure the choices all feel good, so it's very encouraging to hear your praise for it. And hey, if the To Be Continued line bugs you, the Patreon is always there with upcoming content early!
I've been chasing a certain character and after seeing an event in day 3 I actually got mildly upset and had to turn the game off xD. I've been rejecting everyone else and specifically romancing this one character the whole playthrough and then suddenly I need to bleach my eyeballs. Like I'm pretty woke in real life but in games and media I am TRADITIONAL; why are you with someone else rn and not me? Actually pissed me off so bad because if we're just hooking up with people and not getting married i may as well not have been rejecting people and going for this one character "save myself for you" sort of mindset. I'm so pissed im probably just restarting and switching to Tulemeni because she deserves love, but i swear if i walk in on her having relations with someone that's not me I will not be able to handle it bruh.
Thanks for the insight, all of what you wrote gives me some idea of what to expect in regards to the "events." The last paragraph is especially cringe for me because, in my experience, i do tend to chase the worst people without even realizing - whether it be naivety or pure stupidity. That is to say, growing up for me was not falling in love with DL men lol (I live in red south). I guess thats reflected even in my furry VN somehow.
I'm sorry that this has upset you! The nature of the setting is a lot more loose and free regarding sexual activity than is often seen in the current real world day, and the characters of the story have existing dynamics and situations that have nothing to do with Rael. Rael is the lead character of this story, but he's not the centre of the universe. The crew do not exist to revolve around him; the story's not about that.
Regrettably, if you're upset by the members of the crew engaging sexually with one another absent your involvement, Void Dreaming may not be for you. Fortunately, there are many other FVN projects that will no doubt be much more pleasant for you, and I wish you good luck in finding one you enjoy!
I will point out that the other person who responded to your comment was factually incorrect about a number of things. I'm not inclined to go point-counterpoint since I'm certain their tastes and values are colouring their experience to the point where they're actively making up scenarios that never existed in the written text, but when they're going to go ruining people's perceptions of my characters when they're making shit up? I'll step in to at least point that out. Quite irritating.
The ace Rael option was definitely included for those who wanted to consider that option, though. It's always good to see it getting some use!
Yeah I'll be honest this kind of threw me for a loop. Especially after getting many events with them and all the signals and honestly that was going down I was like oh they are super interested in me now I'm doing it right especially after a very specifically vulnerable event and then you see 'that' scene and boy it shattered my hopes right away. I love the characters and the story and everything but I'll admit it instantly decimated my want to keep trying cause I feel like a side piece to everyone at that point, like a little extra fun but not important even if their words say farrrr different. Anyway, still good stuff just probably too depressing for me.
I'm sorry that this has caused some frustration for you! If this is the circumstance I think it is, then it's not supposed to be able to happen; there could be a programming fault in there that I need to address to prevent the scene in question from coming up after such an important Event scene. If that's what's happened, I'm doubly sorry; it'll be fixed in an update for sure!
I mean yeah if it's not supposed to happen after all the conversations you have with that specific character in the cargo bay then it would definitely lift the malaise that hit me after. Cause all the words exchanged and the honest feelings made it feel like they are super connecting to you and you are meaning more than just the initial scene. If it's true that it's supposed to disable that other scene if you made it that far with them, then I certainly would be a lot happier to continue.
gonna throw my hat in the ring and say why not give us an option to disable voyeur scenes? I personally would prefer such an option but its not a deal breaker for me
Of course this could present some dissonance with the narrative especially with Mizz and I am no programmer either so not sure how this would work in regards to coding
Ultimately I dont see such an option harming the story as we already have an option to get rid of sex altogether its just that this particular act can leave a sour taste for a lot of people and be potentially triggering for some even if the character isnt actually cheating
You already did a great job on making it extremely easy to not accidently romance characters we dont want to romance (bg3 at launch was notorious for having this problem with Gale) why not make it just as easy to avoid scenes like that
There's already an option for the reader to not get involved in anything that other crewmembers are getting up to; Rael can leave before anything is discovered. The option is there for that reason, and I can't see a need to add anything more than that since if the issue is not wanting to intrude on private moments, it's already covered. If the issue isn't that you can see them and more that they're happening... well.
I've heard that some people take issue with those scenes because they consider it cheating/cuckolding content, and to that I disagree firmly. Even if you remove the notion that the setting is far more sex-positive and easy-going with such things, at no point in any Void Dreaming content available right now (and potentially for a long time) is Rael in a committed relationship with anyone on the crew. If people want to call that cheating, that's their prerogative, but I've no intention of trying to meet every requirement for every potential reader. That's impossible, after all!
As ever, I heartily encourage people who think that Void Dreaming is not for them to simply stop reading. There are many other wonderful FVNs out there that may not rub them the wrong way, and if not I equally encourage them to perhaps create something of their own and share that with their own audience. I'm not going to yuck anyone's yum, but I'm also not going to bend to the desires of every reader who takes issue with an aspect of my work.
It depends, actually! The amount of effort is variable, but as a general rule, it takes about two or three sessions to see development in a single specific skill. It might get changed up eventually based on feedback and the way it feels by the time the 1.0 release eventually arrives, but we'll see!
So far one of the best VN that I have seen as of late. Rael has to be one of my favorite MC by how well he's written and how rich his background building can be made(Sorry, Nick, but Super Nova has been on hiatus since 2024)
Still, bit of question here.
BIG SPOILER
Is the whole biolock/Carrison disease thing a relevant part of the plot, or is just a lore tidbit that was added in as part of the main character background?
Because I was merrily going trough Sam route, when I stumbled upon the line mentioning and all what it implies, and honestly, the whole thing gave me BAD vibes. I thought, that, if its just a background thing, it could be made into a yes/no background thing, like the sex/asexual thing, or every of the background picks, and the bit of convo on Sam's bit be omitted if the MC picked "yes, I have a biolock" (and no Carrison disease); on the same way, he could say "I had a biolock set at my 20-ish" when meeting the Captain.
But then I thought again. It may be a significant part of the plot/relevant plot-wise later, so it may be a thing of waiting and seeing. Still, reading that line felt dreadful. MC cannot live as long as the crew? Yep, he's gonna be killed off as per the plot at the end. Of some similar event.
The whole biolock thing (or the lack of one, actually) feels more dreadful than the whole pirate affair, IMO, and makes all the romantic interactions feel sorta...pointless?
Sorry if I'm not very articulate as I write this, as I'm not exactly very fluent on English.
In any case, whatever happens, I wish the team the best of lucks on the VN development.
Hey, and thank for your words and your thoughts; it's very much appreciated. And don't worry! Your English was absolutely fine.
Obviously I can't give too much away given the potential for spoilers, but I'm sorry that certain aspects of Rael's existence aren't working well for you. I do wonder if getting the information you did when you did may have coloured things, or if you may have picked up something that I didn't intend, but Rael's certainly not in any danger of dying anytime soon (not from natural causes, anyway!). Maybe by the end of the story you'll have a clearer picture of where this has all been going, and I hope when you get there you find the conclusion to Void Dreaming to be a satisfying one.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts, and I hope you continue to enjoy Void Dreaming!
I mean, what I take is that he potentially won't live as much as the rest of the crew. And that's the sort of thing that pisses me off (quite a lot). In a sci-fi scenario where everyone can live centuries, if not more, the MC being restricted to the default for no good reason (aside "character building") leaves a sour taste, at the very least.
And makes pursuing any love interest, well, completely irrelevant. Since the MC isn't supposed to live as long as them. Why bother on the first place?
It's a bit of a prickly subject, for me in particular, or perhaps my brain is too nitpicky on some details that are actually not very relevant. Again, if this detail is related to the plot in more depth, I won't pry further to avoid spoilers.
I see two very important sides of this; the first is agreeing with you, in that it really creates a barrier between Rael and everyone else, since it sounds like everyone else either has or will have many biolocks in their life to extend out for centuries, while Rael may potentially be forgotten or never truly valued.
The second, however, is much more romantic in that because Rael won't live that comparably long, his time with the crew will hold that so more significance. After all, knowing he won't live as long as everyone else will make him appreciate the day to day happenings on a much deeper level than anyone else on the ship, and perhaps in turn result in the crew viewing him with a greater level of respect.
That's the painful point. I wouldn't bring myself to truly love someone if I would know that it won't be more than a fleeting thing. Love requires commitment. Why care so much if the guy is going to die in a few decades?
Also, I call bullshit on the whole biolock thing. Were I on Rael position, and given the overall advancement of technology that the VN seems to have, I'd do anything to keep myself alive. BY ANY MEANS necesary. Making a clone and transfering the mind. Making a bio-synthetic body and doing a similar process, copying the memories into a synthetic brain and putting said brain into a synthetic body lookalike of myself. ANYTHING.
That said, I've been seeing a pattern in a lot of VN, and the biolock thing seems to follow a...unfortunate trend. The idea of taking away the player's/MC agency to put the MC an echelon down than the rest of characters, who are not subject to the same disadvantages. I see this as a bit of a shared knee-jerk reaction to the "power fantasy" trope seeing on other VN, but overall, at this point, taking agency away in places where isn't very impactful, seems irrelevant, and just makes the reader feel worse.
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the story, Vundorm!
I was tempted to make Rael's name something the reader could change when I started out, but I decided against it. You're inhabiting Rael in this story and guiding his choices, but Rael's his own character and I felt in the end that leaving his name as it is was the best choice narratively. I hope it doesn't negatively impact your enjoyment too much!
Question. So far, we’ve been allowed to flirt with multiple crewmates and develop relationships with them all simultaneously, but will there ever come a point where we are made to, so to speak, lock in and choose one? Or is polyamory possible? Should you commit to one person?
Second question. Are events day locked? Or can they trigger later? For example, I am pursuing Bromm and Anwill on one playthrough. I promised I would meet Anwill after and did meet up with him on day 3. In doing so I missed the chance to speak with Bromm in the infirmary and trigger an event with him as they share this time slot. Will this event trigger again another time? Or is it something I’ve forever missed?
For the first question, you'll always (if you're pursuing romances or not) wind up gravitating toward one crewmember above all the others. This won't lock out any intimacy with other crewmates before the lock-in, but if you're messing around romantically with compatible crew, you may be able to leverage that into a polyamorous situation. It'll depend on if the crewmembers are compatible with both each other and Rael, though, and that's much later in the story yet!
And for question the second, Event scenes do have limitations to them and some are very specifically locked to certain days. Most Event scenes, however, are viewable within a set timeframe. As the story goes on, you may start to see why they're structured the way that they are; it's a very complex web of potential. But Void Dreaming is made to be explored multiple times and in multiple ways, so just because you miss something on one run through doesn't mean you'll miss it in another!
I really liie this vn, but I just wanted to ask if there were any planned 1 on 1 scenes for Bromm? I really like him, but I wasnt finding any 1 on 1 with him. Is it just in development or does he just need more time with MC to be like that?
When you decide to go to Sam's area during the 3rd day i think and see something you arent meant to. Its like "ok yea ill take my leave" BUT WHY IS OUR CHARACTER SO CHILL ABOUT IT??? Its the first time we see something like that and out of everyone its SAM the dude who acts hella antisocial with others. And the worst part is on the same day Zuberi comes to our door to get a run down on our spy work? I dont know if im being dumb but my personally, id think about it slightly and my view on them 2 would change for the worse (not in a bad way but like its constantly on my mind) making certain interactions awkward)
I get that there are bigger fish in the sea to worry about BUT THATS A BIG FUCKIGN FISH
You're certainly not being dumb; your insights are going to inform how you enjoy any story! The setting Void Dreaming takes place in is pretty easy-going about sex, and these two have known each other for quite a while. Things make sense from their perspective, even if Rael, and you, are an outsider to it. How you feel about it is all up to you, though!
And thanks so much; I'm glad to hear you think Void Dreaming is peak! I hope to only make it even more awesome as time goes on!
i am glad i let this one somewhat marniate after last time i played, each day is a wonder to play through. Theres like nothing for me to complain about.
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm glad that you're enjoying Void Dreaming, and by all means, take your time! I try to make sure every update is packed full of stuff to enjoy, but you're not wrong; the longer you wait, the more there is!
10/10. The writing is great on this, you got the sci-fi techsciencetalkythingies down great. I appreciate that you're not using filtered photos as backgrounds (All VNs should strive to have custom backgrounds). Also like the lore-building and character design.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Nein! I do love me some good worldbuilding and technobabble, so finding the balance between it and being coherent is always fun! Rico also does amazing work on the backgrounds for Void Dreaming; I'm sure he'll appreciate your praise and I'll pass it along!
Just finished, I was originally fully in on either Sam or Tulemeni, they were both the most interesting, but GOD if Anwill didn't show up and just steal the show 10/10 I cannot wait for what comes next. Also if you EVER do another cliffhanger like that I will die
I can't make any promises, but I'm glad you're excited for what comes next! Patreon has the full Day 5 experience now (and starts Day 6 soon!) if you can't wait another month and a bit!
Just finished day one and I've gotta say, this is one of the best visual novels ive ever played! The characters and artstyle are so well fleshed out, and the language is just understandable enough to make someone really get the "sci-fi jargon" thing work well. Absolutely stellar 5 stars
Thank you so much, Mechasauras! It's only going to (hopefully) get better from Day 1 for you; I hope that I continue to maintain your confidence and enjoyment moving forward!
Goodness, thank you so much! That's very kind of you to do, and I'm incredibly grateful for it. Void Dreaming is so much work, but knowing people are enjoying the project makes it all worthwhile. I hope I continue to maintain this high standard for you!
Hey, I found a bug after accepting Mizz's event on Day 3. Other than that the game is very fun so far! Writing and characters are very good. Worldbuilding is also very interesting. Reminded me a little of Adastra if you can believe it. Keep up the good work :3

Ah, thank you! I'll make sure that's all fixed in the update that comes out next. You should be able to skip that one safely in the meantime, and sorry about that!
Just wanted to check in to make sure I hadn't missed it, but this was actually fixed in a later update! Your version, in your log, is 0.04.01, and the public build is now up to 0.04.04 (and 0.04.05 is coming before Day 5!). So all you need to do is download the latest update and that one is fixed already!
Sorry again for the inconvenience; Void Dreaming has more moving parts than a lot of VNs, I think; keeping them all working right is a constant struggle!
No apology necessary; thanks for pointing it out at all! Always glad to know when things aren't working right so I can fix them for everyone as soon as possible!
Pure peak and ecstasy! This is -no joke- a VN I'd rank up REALLY high on my list (actually on top of it, but don't tell anyone else) and I'm very serious when it comes to my personal rankings~ Everything's great- the art (vallhound's art just hits different), the writing, the story... I got immersed in the first couple of minutes as an avid sci-fi, cyberpunk genres fan. The characters are actually well nuanced and they feel ALIVE, they're all different and unique in their own way. I always struggle immersing myself in other VNs due to them either having 1) Weak, all over the place writing, 2) A focus on being dating sims where everyone just likes you by default and the characters are often empty shells.
But with Void Dreaming... damn, it's refreshing. It's good. It's got some great potential. PLEASE keep working on it but pace yourself, drink enough water and sleep.
Goodness, thanks so much for the very kind words, Katalistik! It's wonderful to know that the hard work put into this is really paying off for you. Don't you worry; I'm taking good care of myself while pushing as hard as I can. I'm not letting this get away from me!
This is honestly amazing and I love the story! I was wondering if their Caleia has more intimate scenes or if their was any, I tried my best to follow her and got to know her really well with the workout and cargo event on both days
After much playing I figured it out! I do want to say again this game is amazing the crew is captivating and stunning I really love and appreciate the options, I'm straight myself so seeing all the romance being optional and not forced or actually pursued is a nice touch. I look forward to much more scenes with Caelia and how the story progress, I'm proud to say I subbed to the Patreon!
Thank you so much; that's so wonderful to hear! It's great to know you're enjoying Caleia, and trust me when I say there's a lot of fans of her in the same boat as you over on the Discord! Also glad to hear you were able to get in a bit better with her in the process; she can be prickly, but fun once you get to know her, as you doubtless found out!
And thank you so much for the Patreon support; there's a lot to love over there too, and I hope you continue to enjoy what I'm doing with the project
Of course, Ive been through quite a few VNs and I dare say this is the best I've played, I was actually curious how to join the discord after joining up the Pat, I eventually went back and managed to do everything I could do her and found what I was missing heh
giving a mix of starfield and cyberpunk vibes and I LOVE it one of the best visual novels since Repeat and Adastra (in my opinion, plz don’t murder meeeeee ;w;)
I must say I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Void Dreaming has exceeded my expectations by a large margin. I can’t wait to read more!
The dialogue actually captures me and makes me want to get to know the characters much more, in a friendly way (or more, depending). This is going on my reading list and I’ll be sure to tell anyone who’s looking for something good to give it a try. :)
The breadth of options does make me go back and want to investigate as much as I can, to see how it can turn out. I appreciate how challenging it must be to incorporate all of that, so you have my sincere admiration.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Eirnym! It's always wonderful to hear that people are having a good time with the project, and doubly so when their expectations are met and exceeded. Here's hoping I can keep doing that, if only to better justify your praising it to other people!
There's a lot to see and do even with just what's already released, so I hope you have fun exploring the different options you have. Knowing that people are enjoying them just makes that challenge all the more worthwhile!
Okay, a real gem found while searching for new VN's. I must say I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised reading the first few chapters. Your writing is excellent, the timing for humor is impeccable. The characters are what won me over to be honest, they're all different and I don't know, the writing makes them feel very... real, you know? The art is also incredible, congratulations to the artist. The possibility of choosing the protagonist's past and its impact on the story is something very different, and I really enjoyed it. Overall, a very good visual novel so far. I congratulate all your team and can't wait to see what happens next <3
Thank you so much for the very high praise, JooSZ! I admit that I always feel like my character writing isn't my strongest point, so it's always lovely to hear that people think I nailed it! I'm also lucky to have some fantastic artists working with me to help bring it to life, and I'm sure they appreciate your kindness as well. And don't worry about the OST; while it's all royalty-free stuff for the moment, my hope is that the project does well enough to justify sourcing some bespoke music for the project. Unless you don't dig ambient tracks, I'm sure that number will go up too in time!
Thanks again for the kindness, and I hope you continue to enjoy Void Dreaming!
Well done, seriously leaving day 4 on that sent shivers down my spine. You are a great writer and I can't wait to see what day 5 has in store. Especially after the dnd-like story that kept me hanging onto my seat.
Thanks so much, Arctic! I'm so glad to hear that you've enjoyed Day 4 and especially its ending; there's a whole lot more to come, and I hope that I can continue to intrigue you with the rest of Void Dreaming!
Thank you so much, Cad; it's very kind of you to say! I've been waiting to see people's reactions to Day 4 since before I started writing it, so I'm very glad to hear that you've enjoyed it!
Please continue to let the hate flow through you... or just jump onto the Patreon and grab Day 5 now! *nudge nudge tips salesperson hat*
Can someone give me a walkthrough for the Captain please I want to know where to find him so far in the story so I can be put on his route please and thank you
There's no real walkthrough to be given! There's no routes for the different characters if you want to romance them; just spend time with them naturally and you'll discover what they're all about. There are ways to get in real good with some characters much earlier, but they require a lot of specific effort... as they should to get in their pants so fast!
Long story short: there's no romance routes, so take your time and enjoy their company!
Just a little heads up, I ran into an error on Mizz's 'route'. Right after you make the Event choice, where he asks to go back to your quarters to talk, I get an error. I can't say what it was (it's too far back for the scrolling feature to work, and even the History function doesn't go back that far) but thankfully it let me ignore it and continue. I think I might've missed some lines of dialogue because of it, I'm not sure, and scrolling back to before I got it just gets me the same error at the same time when I click forward again.
Just thought you'd want to know! I'm really enjoying Mizz's route so far, I can't wait to see what else happens in the future!
Glad to know, thank you! Skipping it does work for the moment; it won't affect much of anything right now, so you're all good on that front. Another update will be coming as soon as I can to fix it!
Glad to hear you're enjoying the Mizz content, though!
I absolutely am! Just a quick question, though. I managed to get a blowjob scene, once, when I spied on him giving one to Bromm, but I have no idea how to trigger it again. The only thing that comes to mind is maybe my choice of origin? When I got that scene I was a core-worlder, this playthrough I was a spacer. Does that make any difference?
Whether he's that receptive that early depends on a number of factors, but getting any of the spicy content in Void Dreaming at its earliest always requires a much more optimal approach than otherwise. Your choices really so matter here!
Well, that’s an absolute masterpiece — easily in my TOP 5! The amount of work you’ve put into this is incredible, and I’m honestly in awe `ィ(´∀`∩💛 I love the game, love the characters, love the atmosphere, love the game.... oh no, did I say love the game twice? Guess that says everything!
Thank you for creating something so unique and captivating. Your talent really shines through, and I can’t wait to see what you make next. Keep going — you’ve got something truly special here!💛
Goodness, thank you so much, Paul; it's very much appreciated! Void Dreaming is absolutely a lot of work, but it's worth it if I get the chance to entertain people. That I've earned such robust, high praise from you is absolutely uplifting; thank you so much for saying so, and for enjoying the VN!
Imo, while it's sad Anwill is a (hidden for spoiler), I look forward to continuing his path. Also, in regards to Rael as an Ex-Star pirate, I definetly want him butting heads with more pirates in the future and maybe even making a few allies with some of them to fight other pirates along the way. 🙂👍
Anwill's and the Dreamer crew's stories are far from over, so you've got plenty to look forward to yet! As for what piratical elements might be in play in the future... you'll just have to wait and see!
I'd firstly like to say I love this VN and all the characters are so wonderfully written. I've been wondering though, are the plans on making a gallery for all the art work? Along with that, maybe a walk through on how to get the pieces? I think may be asking for much, but this is just out of curiosity!
Thanks so much Lem00n, it's great to know you're enjoying Void Dreaming and the cast! A gallery is definitely planned eventually; I want to wait until I have a full UI update ready to go before I start messing with those things. Rest assured that a gallery and more are going to be hopefully added in future updates!
As for a guide to getting them, I heartily recommend the Void Dreaming discord! There's lots of fans there happy to help!
Amazingly well written, great world building, When it said "to be continued" I cried out in sadness! I need to see where it's all going!
For that scene with Anwill, I'd suggest giving an option in the lock-out romance to go the "no" route that's in the romance path? Like, I wasn't super interested in romancing him, but I also didn't want the reason to turn him down in the moment to be "well, I just don't find you attractive", when really it was like "I absolutely do not want to be taking advantage of your hero complex of me..."
I do want to express gratitude for the option of not pursuing romances though while still building a relationship with the characters!
Thank you so much, Nekel! The whole of Day 4 will be here within the next two weeks, with all of Day 5 coming at the same time for the Patreon if you just can't wait!
That's also a very good idea with the Anwill scene in question, and honestly something I should have done from the get-go. I'll see if I can find some time to make that addition as soon as I'm able, and thanks for the feedback!
This game is crazy good, it is very high quality. This game was out of my radar because my normal tags I search for are "Gay" and "Furry", luckily I found it through my recommendations. I get that this game is LGBTQ+, but maybe adding the tag "Gay" could help, especially since Rael can get with some men in this game. Anyways 10/10, can't wait for the rest of it, especially seeing more Zuberi and Bromm!
Thanks so much, Cookie; I'm so glad that you're enjoying Void Dreaming! I was trying to keep the tags tight, and since Rael's sexuality is determinable by the reader I didn't want to nail it down with specific tags, but maybe I should!
I really like the story and characters especially caleia she is awesome I was wondering if in the next update it will be possible to have more romantic ways with her and somehow have sex with her too
I'm glad that you're enjoying Void Dreaming and Caleia! There will be more Caleia in the next update, but if you're really hungry for some "romantic" content with Caleia, there's some of it already available as early as Day 3, heh heh.
I tried everything but not result but gonna say I saw so cool lore on characters but not caleia is something I'm missing because I'm just on her but nothing
promises and vague statements about time are just empty words to stall for time, no one knows when that so-called "very early" will come unless it has a fixed time frame, otherwise all words are just tricks
Then I'm sorry you feel tricked or deceived; that was never my intention. If that's how you feel, then I heartily suggest you leave Void Dreaming for the moment and enjoy any of the many other wonderful FVNs in the space in the meantime. You can always come back at a later date to see if the story has what you're looking for then.
However, I would like to point out that Void Dreaming has monthly updates on where the project is at, with a focus on transparency with my readers to show them where we're going and what we're doing. So far, I am very proud of the way I have managed to maintain my schedule and accountability to my readers, but I know I can't please everyone and these would likely count for you as more "vague statements" and "empty words" than anything substantive. I'm sorry if I've let you down, but respectfully I don't think there's anything I could do to help that.
Oh don't get me wrong, I still love your story and continue to follow each update, what I said above is just my own feeling when receiving answers without any fixed milestone, you and the game developers can't be sure to give a milestone as the right answer right?
That's why I feel that saying things like "coming soon" is not trustworthy or convincing because the person saying it is not really sure about it, I have experienced too many short-lived games before they could fulfill any promises that were made.
In addition, I need translation support software to convert my language to English, so there is a possibility that the text I use will not be able to fully express my intentions because Vietnamese has many words with many different meanings
Hey there! Yes, it sure does! The main character Rael is male, while Sam, the rabbit character, is enby! I hope that you and your collection's readers like them!

I just wanted to say, seeing Anwill fly off the screen every few seconds had me in TEARS ToT, I LOVE this update!! xD
I love it so much! ╰(*°▽°*)╯
Thanks so much for saying so! I hope that I can continue to entertain you as the project develops!
PS - love that fuckin rabbit
Thank you so much for the kind words, Hat! I've put a lot of work in to make sure the choices all feel good, so it's very encouraging to hear your praise for it. And hey, if the To Be Continued line bugs you, the Patreon is always there with upcoming content early!
More Sam love is always good, too!
what an excellent idea! i shall be joining shortly
Oh goodness, thank you very much, then! Any and all support for the project is very appreciated!
Mini vent and Mild spoilers:
Thanks for the insight, all of what you wrote gives me some idea of what to expect in regards to the "events."
The last paragraph is especially cringe for me because, in my experience, i do tend to chase the worst people without even realizing - whether it be naivety or pure stupidity.
It's actually really good so far I think. If anything I'll just be asexual to experience the story - i appreciate the option to do so.
I apologize if that's the perception it gives. Rather delete the comment than misled people.
Again, I an unlikely to have the full picture on the scenario.
Question; when, or how many times do you have to improve a skill for the level to actually go up?
POTENTIAL SPOILERS?
Continuing your spoilers:
Neat game will definetly be watching with interest
Could we also get an option to rename Rael at some point? I understand completely if you dont want to add that it's your story afterall
It is very much a preference thing and I can always just make edits to the files with notepad++ if I care that much
Ah, all of this is so exciting. Love the VN it’s amazing, your writing is great, and the variety of choice is lovely.
Even if I am lowkey driving myself crazy trying to optimize. :p
Just can’t help it I want to see everything and have the best of everything.
Spoiler kinda
I really liie this vn, but I just wanted to ask if there were any planned 1 on 1 scenes for Bromm? I really like him, but I wasnt finding any 1 on 1 with him. Is it just in development or does he just need more time with MC to be like that?
I can confirm that that is on the way, and you don't have too long to wait. I'm glad you're enjoying him so much, and the VN
Spoilers (Also peak VN)
Finally made an Itch account purely so I could rate this 5 stars and leave a comment here as well!
I am in love with this VN already, everything about it is so charming and engaging - the characters, the tone, the plot, the art etc...
And the writing straight up just slaps - keep up the great work, it's absolutely incredible so far!

Oops, sorry for wasting your time by accidentally reporting a bug in an older build. I'll make sure to install the newest version :3
No apology necessary; thanks for pointing it out at all! Always glad to know when things aren't working right so I can fix them for everyone as soon as possible!
No other word to describe the story so far. It's PEAK. Hands down. Can't wait to see how it progresses
Most kind, thank you! There's a lot left to come, and I hope to continue to entertain you all the while!
Pure peak and ecstasy! This is -no joke- a VN I'd rank up REALLY high on my list (
actually on top of it, but don't tell anyone else) and I'm very serious when it comes to my personal rankings~ Everything's great- the art (vallhound's art just hits different), the writing, the story...
Much, much love from a fan!Goodness, thanks so much for the very kind words, Katalistik! It's wonderful to know that the hard work put into this is really paying off for you. Don't you worry; I'm taking good care of myself while pushing as hard as I can. I'm not letting this get away from me!
Love the artstyle and universe so far
but been a while since I got my feelings hurt by a VN
I'm really glad to hear it! There's a lot of feelings I hope to invoke in the story to come, and I hope you hold onto that hurt, heh heh!
Oh, that's easy! There's a link on the Itch page here, and also on the Bluesky account!; should get you over to the discord in no time!
giving a mix of starfield and cyberpunk vibes and I LOVE it one of the best visual novels since Repeat and Adastra (in my opinion, plz don’t murder meeeeee ;w;)
That's very high praise indeed; thank you! It's always wonderful to hear people are enjoying my work!
Obaa is my favorite sassy AI, i would like to replace my Alexa with her
Alexa wishes it could aspire to the brilliance that is Obaa, heh heh. I'm glad you're enjoying her!
Obaa would soooo judge my music taste with some of the stuff I listen to she’d probably call me the f slur and be on with her day lmao
Bold of you to assume that she needs slurs to destroy your sense of self-worth, heh heh!
Sam, loved
them.... 10/10
I'm sure they'd appreciate it; I sure do! Glad you're enjoying the VN
Art: 10/10
OST: 6/10
Writing: 10/10
Worldbuilding: 10/10
Characters: 10/10
Story: 9/10
Just finished the 4.03 content. Now that's how you do a cliffhanger! I hate you, and I love you for it. Waiting eagerly for the next update!!!
To each their own but still I just want a general map of where to go to find z u B eri
The amount of work you’ve put into this is incredible, and I’m honestly in awe `ィ(´∀`∩💛
I love the game, love the characters, love the atmosphere, love the game.... oh no, did I say love the game twice? Guess that says everything!
Thank you for creating something so unique and captivating.
Your talent really shines through, and I can’t wait to see what you make next.
Keep going — you’ve got something truly special here!💛
Goodness, thank you so much, Paul; it's very much appreciated! Void Dreaming is absolutely a lot of work, but it's worth it if I get the chance to entertain people. That I've earned such robust, high praise from you is absolutely uplifting; thank you so much for saying so, and for enjoying the VN!
Great now I have a hyperfixation, thank you 🤭
I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not! I hope you continue to enjoy what I'm doing here!
RAHH I SO WILL, SPECIALLY [Redacted] I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! 😭
He's just a silly little guy!
Super excited to read when the Mac version gets released! Looking forward to more Mizz in particular~
I'm so sorry! For some reason the Mac version of the current build was marked as invisible; it should be available for you and everyone now!
No worries, of course! It worked out for me since I had kind of a busy day today anyway haha!
Really nice! How do I unlock then if I may ask?
You need to focus a lot on her. Hangout with Caleia as much as possible. Also, punk origin is required if I'm not mistaken.
I'll try do this then thank you
Also how you do punk origin?
I tried everything but not result but gonna say I saw so cool lore on characters but not caleia is something I'm missing because I'm just on her but nothing
You need to go to the Cargo bay on day 3. So that means don't invite Anwill to your room
The answer given definitely helps, yep! If you want to unlock those early scenes, they require a lot of determination on Rael's part!
So we still can't really have a romantic relationship with Zuberi, which is pretty boring to me.
Not yet, nope! But it will come in time; we're very early in the story yet!
promises and vague statements about time are just empty words to stall for time, no one knows when that so-called "very early" will come unless it has a fixed time frame, otherwise all words are just tricks
In addition, I need translation support software to convert my language to English, so there is a possibility that the text I use will not be able to fully express my intentions because Vietnamese has many words with many different meanings
does this game by chance have a nb/m romance option? asking for a collection i curate and heard there was an enby character. thanks!
Hey there! Yes, it sure does! The main character Rael is male, while Sam, the rabbit character, is enby! I hope that you and your collection's readers like them!
FANTASTIC, thank you!! Adding it to the collection!
