Damn was not expecting it to be that good! unfortunately over way too soon, can't wait for an update!

It'll be a little while, but hopefully there's plenty of options to explore and new scenes to discover in the interim. I'm glad you're enjoying it so much so far, though!

Played it for like 6 hours straight, and I'll do it again.

Ohhhhh I so love Anwill, Ooba too is like such a good character love her, queen behavior ngl, sorry if I'm not eloquent but wow the writing is like so amazing can't wait for new updates! Keep up the good work

That was awesome! Very promising indeed; I will be waiting for future updates.

I'm not that picky when it comes to visual novels, but I really appreciate a good writing style and interesting characters from the get-go. It felt natural; you don't know everything about your character or the world around you, just a few bits and pieces or guess the context. Characters explain it to you themselves and you don't have to read another lore book to know what's happening.

Usually, only one or two characters are fleshed out, but here I wanted to explore everything possible, which is rare for me. Tulemeni,Bromm and Zuberi have my heart.

Definitely will be waiting for more. I had big Mass Effect vibes while playing; I fricking love sci-fi! Just don't overwork yourself.

Thank you so much! I'm so thrilled to hear that you enjoyed Void Dreaming so far; there's a lot more to come, I promise!

There really aren't enough sci-fi VNs out there, and I'm glad to help fill that void, pun certainly intended. Sci-fi readers tend to respond well to more contextual information and worldbuilding too, which is definitely something I prefer to do when I can, so it lets me really have that organic information reveal that you mentioned. I'm glad it's appreciated, and that you're enjoying Tulemeni, Bromm, and Zuberi!

Very great so far! Will definitely be following the Progress of your VN with Great interest!

My only concern is with the way I tend to play social sims. As a long time fan of Games like Persona, I often try to "complete" every character's social events.

I understand your intent is to make sure every choice has a weight to it and making it impossible to see everything in one read. I just have to know, are people like myself who take a more "social butterfly" approach and try to balance hanging out worth everyone find a narratively satisfying conclusion to everyone's arc by the end of a playthrough, even if that means sacrificing a deeper connection with the cast?

Or do I just have to bite the bullet with how I usually play these kinds of games and explore each character in depth by only managing 1-3 per playthrough, if I wish to see a more complete depth to a character?

That's not to say I'm against interacting with the story this way, just wanting to know if I have to shift my playstyle/expectations based on what I want. I do understand the intent of writing the experience this way is to promote the reader to experiment across multiple reads and find new things and permutations a seemingly infinite amount of Times.

Overall it has been very fun and I have enjoyed weighing all my options and navigating the complex relationships of the cast. I feel as though every choice, even small dialogue ones have been purposeful and dynamic. Very excited to see how it progresses along with the main story!

Side note: Did I miss something about Tulemeni not having a uniform, despite everyone else needing to wear one? Or is her normal outfit considered one somehow?

Thank you so much for the kind words, Timmy! I really appreciate it and that you're enjoying Void Dreaming!

You might be the first person to comment so far who this VN is actually perfectly suited for! Yes, there are specific developments and discoveries that can be made by focusing in on just one or two characters, of course. For those who want to be social butterflies though, there's a wealth of story and development awaiting you! You can definitely, and potentially even should want to hang out with the whole cast to get a better sense of them and learn more about them. That was absolutely a goal, so by all means go ahead and play your way!

Also, Tulemeni doesn't have a uniform; cybes are not required to since their comfort levels are essential to efficiency. It's very easy for a cybe to be brought out of their element and most do their best work when they feel at ease with themselves, so Tulemeni is allowed to dress as she pleases within much looser guidelines!
