Hey there, everyone! Fae here, with something a bit different in the leadup to the launch of Void Dreaming.

While there was definitely an earlier blog post where I did a short bio on each of the crewmembers of the Void Dreamer, I thought that this would be a good time to go into a little more detail with some extra screenshots of them all. So until launch, enjoy learning a little more about your future shipmates. Some of it’s new, some of it’s taken from the old Crew blog post, and all of it, today, is about our esteemed captain Zuberi!

Species: Wolf (Vilchaeran)

Physical Age: 186 Standard Years

Biolocked Age: 49 Standard Years

Homeworld: N/A - Spacer

Role: Captain

Zuberi is a long, long-time veteran of the Astrogation Guild. He's flown the black for almost as long as he's been alive, and his brief stints off-ship to head dirtside have only ever been by necessity. Zuberi is a creature of the stars, born and raised in the black as surely as any true spacer, and most at home far, far away from anything that could be considered civilization. The number of AG tours he's undertaken, the success rate and efficiency of said tours, and both he and his ship have become legends of the Guild. The Void Dreamer herself has been his starship of choice for over thirty of the years he's been in the AG's service, and the surest companion he's ever had in his whole life. Zuberi truly loves her, and those that show her any disrespect find themselves on the receiving end of the captain's ire. 

Both the captain and his ship have been through numerous ups and downs through the years - fringe space is dangerous and wild space even more so - and both have been changed intrinsically by their time in service. Save for about a standard year of time where the Void Dreamer was being repaired and retrofitted with new hardware, Zuberi has been a constant presence in fringe space. A true lifer of the Astrogation Guild, Zuberi lives for the joy of the life he's chosen. Trapped aboard a (relatively) small ship for his whole life, in the most dangerous regions of space in the galaxy?

 For most people, that would drive them insane. For Zuberi, it's a home he would never and could never turn his back on. The Galactic Authority at his back and the infinite expanse of space before him is exactly where the wolf belongs. Jovial and warm when he's able to relax, Zuberi is nevertheless a focused and driven commander of his vessel. He takes that command seriously, and expects the same of his crew. His trust is given easily, but it can be revoked just as quickly for those who threaten harm to anyone he cares about.

 A wolf of passion tempered by duty, stars have mercy on anyone who gets on his bad side. Aboard the Dreamer, Zuberi tends to linger on the bridge more than anywhere else, though he can often be found in other places like engineering when required.
