Hey there, everyone! Fae here, with the next of the crewmember features in the leadup to Void Dreaming's initial launch!

Today we're going to be touching on Bromm'ka, the little (or not so little) ray of starshine himself. Let's get into it!

Name: Bromm’ka

Species: Bear (Hevri)

Physical Age: 72 Standard Years

Biolocked Age: 37 Standard Years

Gender: Masc

Homeworld: Hevris

Role: Helmsmaster, Doctor 

 Bromm'ka is the perpetually jovial medical officer of the Void Dreamer. He also doubles up as the helmsmaster when Zuberi isn't available to fly the ship, and the amount of trust Zuberi holds in him is displayed by nothing more clearly than that. Almost always found with a smile on his face and a mission to please, Bromm'ka treats the crew of the Dreamer as a surrogate family, and accords them all the respect that his culture bids is due.

That culture informs everything that Bromm'ka says, does, and is. A product of one of the most culturally strict worlds in the Galactic Authority and one of its most educationally progressive institutes both, Bromm'ka is acutely aware of the paradox that he represents. He tries to honor both his past and his future, wearing the icons of his people openly in his casual dress and more concealed while in uniform. No matter how far from home Bromm'ka is, he is not the sort to forget where he came from.

But flight and medicine are his jobs, and cooking is his passion. Through it he performs the role he has set himself as a spiritual anchor for those around him, helping to encourage a healthy body and soul through his most enjoyed medium. No matter the crisis and no matter the situation, there is nothing Bromm'ka is more happy to do than be there for those in need. Through his skills at the helm, his mastery of the replicator and cooker units, or his steady paws as a doctor, Bromm'ka is wholly dedicated to the lives of those around him. 

 It should come as no surprise that Bromm'ka can be found most often in the commissary of the Dreamer, experimenting with new dishes and refining old ones. Whenever someone is in need of his services as a doctor though, he remains always available in the infirmary to tend the needs of those he's sworn to provide for. And while Bromm'ka may not expect those around him to adhere to the tenets that he lives by, the bear is grateful for those that allow him to stand beneath the stars and be seen by the ancestors that he hopes dearly to honor.
